Labor Union

A Labor union often referred to as a trade union, is an organized association or collective representation of workers or employees in a specific industry, company, or profession. Its primary purpose is to protect and advance the rights, interests, and working conditions of its members through collective bargaining, advocacy, and various forms of industrial action.

Example
In a manufacturing company, the labor union negotiates with the management on behalf of the factory workers to secure better wages, improved safety standards, and fair working hours. If negotiations break down, the labor union may initiate a strike to exert pressure and achieve their members' demands.
