Gross vs. Net Income
In the HR industry, the term "Gross vs. Net Income" means "Gross Salary and Net Salary". Gross salary is the total amount that an employer pays an employee each pay period. Net salary is the actual amount that the employee receives after deducting deductions such as taxes, social insurance, and health insurance (if any).
 
Example
If an employee has a Gross salary of VND 10 million/month and deductions of VND 2 million/month, the Net Salary that the employee receives will be VND 8 million/month.
