Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a term that refers to the electronic exchange of data between business partners using certain standard formats. It helps the process of information exchange between partners take place quickly, saving time and ensuring the accuracy of information. However, in the human resources industry, EDI is also understood as the exchange of information related to personnel and business processes such as income, contracts, insurance, salary, health-related information, and information on occupational safety, etc.
