Cost-Per-Hire (CpH) is a metric used to calculate the total cost of recruiting and hiring a new employee, including expenses such as job postings, recruiter fees, and onboarding costs.

Example

An e-commerce company hires a new software developer. The company spends $10,000 on job postings, recruiter fees, and other expenses related to the hiring process. The Cost-Per-Hire for this position is $10,000.
