Constructive dismissal

A situation where an employer creates a hostile work environment that forces an employee to resign, which may be considered a wrongful termination.

Example
An employer who cuts an employee's pay or hours, or who constantly assigns menial tasks, may be engaging in constructive dismissal. Employees who resign due to constructive dismissal may be able to file a legal claim against the employer.
