Career Break

Career Break, also known as sabbatical or extended leave, refers to a period of time when an employee takes an extended break from their regular employment to pursue personal interests, fulfill personal obligations, or engage in activities outside of their career. It is a voluntary decision made by the employee to temporarily step away from their work responsibilities.

Example
A career break is when an employee decides to take a one-year break from their corporate job to pursue a passion for volunteering in a developing country. During this time, they work with a non-profit organization, contribute to community development projects, and gain valuable experiences outside of their regular career. After the career break, the employee may choose to return to their previous job or explore new career opportunities.
