The annual salary review process is a process in which managers review each employee's work achievements, abilities, responsibilities, contributions, and capabilities to decide whether to increase or adjust their salary.
Example
It is common for a company to have a policy of evaluating employees' salaries every year. At the end of each year, employees will have a meeting with their manager to evaluate their performance over the past year. If the employee has achieved the goal and has a good performance, they can get a raise or get a bonus. Conversely, they may not get a raise or only a small raise. This process helps to ensure that the company is paying salaries that match each employee's contribution and ability.
