Algorithmic accountability
Algorithmic accountability refers to the responsibility of HR managers and data professionals to explain how algorithms are used in the hiring or evaluation process of employees, making important decisions such as promotions, contracts, and raises. This responsibility ensures that the algorithm makes decisions that are transparent and do not cause any bias or discrimination.

Example
Explain how an algorithm uses data from candidates' CVs to make hiring decisions. The evaluation and weighting of each criterion in the CV, such as work experience or education, as well as the way the algorithm makes the decision will be clearly explained so that the candidate is evaluated fairly and equally.
